                    Hey all,

Just wondering how many of your creditors have accepted a reduced payment plan and held all interest and further charges.

I started my DMP in Dec and have a huge list of creditors;

Mint CC
Egg CC
Lloyds CC
Lloyds OD
Virgin CC
Halfords CC
Citi CC x 2!!
Barclaycard CC
HFC CC
Aqua CC

All but 4 of these have accepted so far. Citi, Mint and Lloyds TSB Over draft. I’m very happy that so many have accepted so far but I suspect this is as far as I will get. Lloyds have refused, Mint have not communicated and CITI are just plain dumb!!

Oh and I didn’t actually realise so many had accepted until I started to open their statements
 :rotfl:

            HI

I had a long list too - and it took about 8 months for them all the agree to the DMp and stop interest etc.
Some haven't communicated but they are taking the money, so in essence have accepted it!!

            hi
we have 15 on our list but some are same creditor ie ovedraft cc and loan for same creditor.
all have mostly accepted but one we have not heard from or had any statements from so assume they have. when i asked cccs they said just keep paying no news is good news. 2 have gone to dca but have had no hassle from them.
All the others have accepted but some are still charging interest or half the interest amount. I think about 4 are still charging interest and the rest have frozen interest. i have been on dmp since june 07 so not too bad starting to see balances going down now. (paid over £3,000 back so pleased)
bye for now0 -
Yeah, Lloyds CC were ok but they wont budge on the overdraft0

That's the same as it was for me - HSBC were fine with the CC but dragged their heels for over 8 months on the overdraft and personal loan. Finally they sent it to a DCA thank goodness.
I know that it's really hard waitin g- but eventually (fingers crossed!) it should get sorted!!

Yep another who had HSBC accept CC but still refusing to accept Overdraft and adding interest more than the payments every month. Hoping it will go to DCA soon and then I can make them a F&F settlement.
Its a long process but it will all come together soonI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
