has anyone any advice on this?
i have a £500 bill on aqua credit card which i can only just afford the minimum payment of £15 a month on but, now it is off 0% interest it has gone to 39% and of that £15 a month £14.54 goes back on for interest so im only paying 46p off - i cannot afford to pay it off in one go and cannot get another credit card as my credit rating is now poor because of all the catalogues im sorting out because of no signed cca's ....aarghgh
any advice please?
thanks

If possible try to up your payments to £25 a month. This will clear your debt in just over 2.5 years as opposed to the 25 years it will take paying the minimum.0

thanks jimbo - will try but think that will be really difficult...0

Even £20 per month will reduce the total time to four years. If you are using an Aqua card am I right in thinking you won't be able to get a loan for £500?
Good luck, hope you get it sorted.0 -
Can you get an OD to cover this for now? It will be a lower rate.
Have you posted an SOA? We may be able to help you cut down on your monthly expenditure.
Sell everything you don't need on ebay. Take on a few extra shifts at work. How about mystery shopping. An extra hour are work will get you over the £20 mark (assuming min wage).0 -
Hi
this is the link http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280 to the thread which explains how to do a Statment of Affairs. Folk here are very good at finding ways of saving small amounts of money in budgets to sort this of thing out.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Any chance you can swap to a 0% one? Even if it is Capital One for 6 months it will give you the chance to get it paid off, even if you have to sell everything not nailed down on Ebay.
