I read in another thread about companies who ask a debtor to borrow money in order to pay off a debt with them goes against OFT guidelines, is this correct?
Reason I ask is that I applied for a job in a collections department (don't worry, I'd have been one of the nice ones
) and the literature provided stated that on a phonecall to collect an overdue amount, this is the next best thing after full payment by credit or debit card.
