I have spent the week end helping a friend in debt due to my past debt crisis now resolved ,
i thought this may help some on here he had 3 debts with cabot debt buyers , 2 with robinson way , they sent him letters with an email address where he could set up on line accounts to clear debts which he admits he owes , he made offers on line cabot agreed to both offers and will review in 6 months all done on line
, robinson way agreed all on line,
payments to be made to cabot/ robinson way via standing order, cheque, giro bank at post office ,
DD(no no never),
robinson way accepted a monthly payment and one full and final settlement which i paid for him ,
It may not be every ones idea of getting it sorted but he said once the on line details went in the phone calls stopped in 36 hiurs he has had no calls just payment cards through the post .
He did do for the last year my advise which was not pay anything other than a quid becouse thats all he could afford he now can afford more and is dealing with it , just thought i would tell you as when i was in debt crisis i was unable to do anything via email so is this a new thing ?????
