Full or P/T Home-Based Work for Self-Employed All over the UK

This is a National Ad for the whole of the UK & is posted on Jobsite & Monster thought it might suit some people on this forum. I have worked for this company for 2 years. The work is regular but dependant on where you live and your suitability.

NATIONAL ADVERTISING & MARKETING RESEARCH COMPANY REQUIRES FIELD FORCE IN KEY AREAS
SELF EMPLOYED ROLE: OTE £8-£20 PH

WHO ARE WE?
Established over 20 years ago, we are one of the leading UK-wide advertising and marketing research companies, providing audit and verification services to any company using local and regional advertising, and/or distributing products and services through retailers.

THE ROLE?
To visit specific locations and retailers, as advised by head office through our field force extranet, to report whether the promotion exists, is in good order, provide photographic evidence, and occasionally complete a questionnaire/survey of what you find.

THE WORK?
Each month we ask our field force to visit thousands of locations and retailers; this involves downloading from our web site your work schedule, planning the order of your visits, visiting each location checking the condition of the promotion, recording where problems are found and taking digital photographs, with all reports returned via our extranet at the end of each day.

ABOUT YOU?
You will be self-employed and have spare time. The work would suit someone that enjoys being out and about and not stuck behind a desk. Knowing your own 'home area' very well is a distinct advantage - this will help you plan your daily schedule and routes to improve your work efficiencies, which will increase your income!

Given the nature of our work you will be expected sometimes to work on Saturday and Sundays. You will also need to own and be proficient using a PC and digital camera, and have access to the web, preferably broadband. Your own transport - whether car, or maybe motorbike - is a must.

HOW MUCH CAN YOU EXPECT TO EARN?
Payment is based on the number of locations you visit and report - so your ability to work efficiently is important. Rates will vary depending on the proximity of locations to your home, the density of locations required to be visited in your area, and the scope of the client's brief. But the opportunity to earn £8 to £20 per hour is quite possible. Our field force is paid by BACS on receipt of invoice at the middle of the following month.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS?
MUST HAVE - PC and DIGITAL CAMERA
MUST HAVE - KNOW HOW TO USE PC, DIGITAL CAMERA AND INTERNET
MUST HAVE - OWN CAR OR TRANSPORT
MUST HAVE - EYE FOR DETAIL AND ADMINISTRATIVELY GOOD
MUST BE - RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY
MUST KNOW - YOUR AREA

So, if everything works out well you could expect to be earning by this time next week! We look forward to hearing from you.

Sounds interesting as I really don't want to go back to work full time in an office. I just don't have the confidence any more.

Down side no car at the moment.

I am just wondering how good they are and are they for real.

    Yours

I registered with them a while ago, and have never had any work :( I assume there is no work, or too many people already doing it in my area.

If you apply, don't rely on the income!
Here I go again on my own....

Thanks to everyone who applied, if you haven't received a verifcation email please contact them directly as it appears some applicants didn't receive theirs and they can't process your application without verification of a viable email address.

If you haven't received a telephone call it is because you did not fulfill the suitability requirements.

I applied last week, got 5 phone calls left on my answer machine as I was unavailable (they were keen!) and I phoned her back and was on the phone with her for half an hour. I fit the bill, so I am in.

Now got my log-in name and password for website and all systems go!

    I start Monday :D

I'll let you know how it goes... :p
