    hi
its more or less like the normal dco7 but this dc07i
have the standard features of the Dyson DC07 which include on board tools, lifetime filters, plus brush control which enables the beater brush bar to be stopped thus being able to clean on hard floor surfaces.
Brush Control for delicate floors / hard floors
The brush control system protects rug fringes and the drive belt. The foot operated control easily turns the brush off when cleaning delicate rugs and hard floors.
    and has Auto carpet-height adjustment
so that why we bought this one as it can do more than the normal dco7
i did ask why was it called dco7i and they said its made for Independent Traders
so that why its not on dysons web site, its also on here
    http://www.barmey.co.uk/ssl/aspcart/...duct_id=100414
more details about it, good cleaning suction power on carpets and the pipe extends for cleaning stairs and has the 3 attachments as you will see in pic
    hope this helps
plus the 5 year warranty clinch the deal for us

Do you find it really good on hard floors or only okay?
  • I have a miele cat and dog and it is ace (don't have cats/dogs just long haired kids that moult everywhere:rotfl: ). Seriously the pick up with the turbo brush is great. £179 in John Lewis but the £20 vouvher is about at the moment bringing the price down.

The "non turbo" head will do wood floors too.

I'm thinking of getting this one,. What's this £20 voucher you speak of??

I hate Dysons! I've got a "Henry" and wouldn't have anything else!

Big Henry fan here too, it's very quick and easy to use and I have mixed floors.;)
  • I vote for Henry too - great on oak floors aswell as carpet.
My cleaner has a dyson and prefers our henry!
NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........

Same here Henry all the way

I have had three Dysons in the past all have died on me within 18 months of use not a patch on the Henry

Will never buy a Dyson again
  • forgot to mention that it stretches to clean to the top of the stairs
which we found was a problem with other upright cleaners that just didnt reach up half way up the stairs.
    'our stairs are 13 steps'
