Hi all,
Forgive my ignorance, I know nothing about pensions...
I have in the past had 2 employer pensions, both with Banks when I worked for them, I am now going self employed and wondered if I could move both to a stakeholder pension?. Based on the statements a year ago I think they were worth roughly
One is worth about 20k
One is worth about 10k
Any thoughts welcomed, thank you

You can do. It may or may not be the best thing but it is possible.
As you are going self employed you need to be aware that from this point on you will qualify for a lower state pension than when you are employed. So, make sure you treat your retirement provision with care as you wont have the as much in the second state pension to fall back on.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
