Credit Card advice please :(

Hi all.
I have just received a letter from Lloydstsb about my credit card.
I got paid early on the 21st December so I thought that I would pay my credit card bill that day so I knew that the money was there to go out.
I have this letter which states that I never paid for January, but because I got paid early it shows that I paid double for December.
According to this letter I have to phone them, just to make sure that I have no problems paying them... Do you think that they will believe me, that I made an honest mistake.... I have also been charged £12 for non payment.
Advice please. Thanks

Why do people feel the need to keep up with the Jones's ?? Why do some people feel the need to out do there friends and family ?? is this real happiness ??

Phone them and explain and ask them to remove the charge. If this is a once off they should understand. 0 -

The worse they can say is tough and leave the charge on there. I am sure it will still show on your credit report as non payment though. That will unfortunatly stay on your report for 6 years although again if its a one off it shouldnt be used against you. Hope they say yes ~ fingers are crossed here, let us know what they say
