hi just been reading your diary, your so close to being morgage free ,,well done,,:)
what do you plan on doing with your spare money,,if you don't mind me asking,,

First thing will be to save this year's ISA allowance - haven't started that yet at all. Have also bought a new car - 3 yrs 0% which will have to be paid off.
After that it'll be serious saving either for a buy to let flat which I can live in when I'm older or if I saw the right property to do up, the 'dream' house.
Whatever it was I would be aiming to do it with the minimum possible mortgage so saving for a big deposit!
And I'm going to have some fun!
    PO xx :D

Not any more - this morning I found £20 in an old handbag (2 tens luckily - not sure what i'd have done with an Edward Elgar twenty!) and instead of rushing to the Hali and putting it in my mortgage account, I bought treats in Sainsbury's!!!!! It wouldn't have brought my MF date forward and I think i'm only paying about 4p a day in interest (or less since I've OP'd since I last worked it out!!) I think I'm de-mob happy!!!!!
