You're not being boring at all - you're quite rightly being every last bit as excited as the situation deserves!
Halal meat - best bet is your nearest town with a reasonable muslim community. There wil be several butchers to choose from most likely - don't expect them to look like your average British butchers though! The one to choose is, strange as it may seem, the one being used by obviously british born & bred folk (this is one of the few situation where this holds true - usually it's the opposite - ie with a chinese restaurant the one where the chinese community eat is going to be the best). You'll find several meats that you're not necessarily familiar with - goat is like a slightly gamey form of lamb and is delicious, but sometimes needs longer cooking than it's lamb equivelent. Mutton you may well know and have cooked before - again needs slightly longer cooking but is unbelievably tasty, especially if you've been used to fairly bland supermarket lamb!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks EH - will check out Gloucester.
I have now finished my electricity and gas analysis - 21 units of electricity a week and 4 of gas. Not sure how i'm going to cut that down as OH is from warmer climes and I think is going to feel the cold! He will very soon be introduced to the joys of a fleecy blanket and a hot water bottle! LOL!! He's already scared of the cold - he ain't seen nothing yet! ROFL!!

PO, just catching up having been away on business and haven't you been busy!
I'm sure you can think of better ways to keep warm under a blanket than just a hot water bottle
Best wishes with the future and OH adaption to the UK climate; I know from traveling on business to South East Asia and Middle East that arriving back into a UK wet cold autumn is not pleasant! Also, some clients from North America have been known to say how cold they feel here due to our "wonderful" combination of cold weather and high humidity which is what makes it feel colder. OH therefore is not unique in feeling cold here, so hope that reassures him and you, and that it won't be a problem En Shala.
Very best wishes for the future :T0 -
