direct line mortgage - any good?

hi, has anyone got or had a direct line mortgage?
theyre doing a 5.29% 5 year fixed rate with £499 fees.
just wondered what they are like? is the mortgage with direct line or through a third party, i just wondered because the post office mortgage is with bristol and west.

I saw the same deal - if you complete the quote link it tells you that their Mortgage is by the Royal Bank of Scotland. However I went and had a look at the RBS website and you cannot get anything near as good by going direct.
Check out First Direct 5yr fixed.
Also Cumberland Building Society has a good 5 yr deal at the moment.0
