I've been using this plugin for a while and I have to say it is very good. Here is how to get it:
1.Download from http://bene.sitesled.com/adblock.htm (click installs)
Ironically they have google adverts on there which their software actually blocks...
2.Get filterset G from:
http://www.pierceive.com/filtersetg/
The latest one at the moment is:
http://www.pierceive.com/filtersetg/2005-07-08a.txt
(right click, save link as)
A. Install Filterset.G:
1. Go to http://www.pierceive.com/filtersetg/
2. Right-click on most recent version of Filterset.G > Copy Link Location
3. Tools > Adblock Plus > Preferences (Ctrl+Shift+P)
4. Adblock Options > Import filters..
5. Paste URL into "File name" entry box
6. Open
7. OK (overwrite list) **Critical**
8. Done
4.Get the filterset G whitelist from here:
http://www.pierceive.com/filtersetg/whitelist-beta/
(and find the latest date)
B. Install Filterset.G-Whitelist-Beta:
1. Go to http://www.pierceive.com/filtersetg/whitelist-beta/
2. Right-click on most recent version of Filterset.G-Whitelist-Beta > Copy Link Location
3. Tools > Adblock Plus > Preferences (Ctrl+Shift+P)
4. Adblock Options > Import filters..
5. Paste URL into "File name" entry box
6. Open
7. Cancel (append list) **Critical**
8. Done
Note this software does not have any spware, adverts etc and is 100% free (As can only be expected from firefox plugins).
So enjoy advert-free browsing!!
