My husband is in the bad books though, said he would be home an hour ago and if he thinks that he can wander in after 7 and I will have got kids bathed and bedded down, he has another thing coming!
Kids HAVE been bathed and bedded down and he is still not back!
If he has not been in an accident, he better not come home! :mad:0 -
Forgot to add - THANKS FOR THE LIST PIGPEN - I need the change - bathroom doesn't get done enough because I am busier at the end of the week!0

Another one happy to do the bathrooms, never seem to get round to it at end of week. No study yet so will cross that off and all paperwork up to date thanks to other nights sort.
Finally put my lovely tie backs up to our bedroom curtains and have started edging the wall with the paint, its really dark so am being super careful so it doesn't look a mess. Also done 3 loads of ironing and wiped all the downstairs paintwork.
Mudbath dead nosey now but what does your DH do for work aboard? Sounds interesting, tell me to bu**er off if you like LOL!
I'm going to PM who I think is LJD1 as I'm unsure now who it is, thought I'd figured it but if you all are struggling prehaps I haven't!

Kimberly... DON'T get a hotpoint!! Or a white knight Or an indesit.. they are all rubbish!! The best TD I had was a creda one.. that was fantastic did 10 years before it finally exploded on me lol.. I also had an old hoover one which was great... I would recommend a vented one rather than a condenser as well.. they dry stuff WAY quicker and use less electricity as they aren't condensing!
Have a look on the which website see what they recommend for dryers..
I'd go for a zanussi or bosch they are fabulous without moving into the super-expensive brands.
Ebay up to £216!!!!!!!
Can it get to £250???LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Kimberley - we had a White Knight and it died after about three years - the heating element. Cost about 70% of a new machine to replace it. I am only buying bosch white goods now - my zanussi dishwasher is my most regretted purchase ever.
Bathroom, good. But grim up there last time I looked. Completely stripped the study bit on Friday, so a fairly quiet list for me tomorrow. Given that I went swimming this morning, then dug both veg plots before tidying the play room and then rediscovering the bottom of the ironing pile that might not be a bad thing. My knees and arms are aching a lot. Nice badedas bath for me.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Hex.. my zanussi washing machines are the best thing I ever bought in my life.. bosch dishwasher is fantastic as well.. I'd never ever have anything hotpoint in my house again!! MY hoover Dw was good too.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

We've got a bosch and I love it. Only had it a few months and it's the first time we've had a separate dryer. I try not to overuse it but would hate to be without it now.
Am I clueless too? Who is LJD?
Oohhhh....good on the ebay Pigpen, very impressive.
Tracy - he's an engineer and tends to work locally for a year and then away for a couple of years but he tends to be home for the weekend which is when I tend to work so we get on very well as never see each other! That was a long sentence.
Going to see if i've won my items on ebay - don't think it's one of yours pigpen xx0 -
My creda one was one of the little half load ones.. mine was about £100 from what I've seen in shops they are still about that.. but it was brilliant.. it would dry a full load (what's a half load?? lol) in about 1/2 the time my big condenser takes to do the same amount!
Mudbath.. won't be mine they have about an hour left.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
