hi,
i am currently on a dmp with my creditors, does anyone know if i stop paying orange do they have any more powers than the credit cards, it seems the cards help out with a repayment plan but orange will not reduce my payments, i cant afford the phone bill now and need pay as you go but they wont budge, so i have decided not to pay them, has anyone got any advice.
thanks guys

Blokes, I think if you stop paying orange they put charges on your account and the then debt could be passed to a collections agency. Did you mention about not being able to keep up repayments to Orange to your dmp company? The best thing i would suggest is to phone Orange and let them know what your situation is and ask them to either lower the bill dramatically or if you have debt with them already (ie amounts outstanding) then ask if they can set up a repaymenst plan with you. I suspect that will mean your phone will be cut off and your contract stopped however.0
