Debt free diary

Hi all
Thank you for all your advice support and basically helping me get my butt in gear. I have decided to start a diary because it will make me focus. I am also writing a spend diary so far i spent nothing yesterday and have spent nothing today all good!!

I have already got the bank to reduce the overdraft by £200 this month and hopefully by the end of Feb will get it reduced a bit more.

Plan of action is attack OD then MBNA cc as highest interest i've really got to get my head down on that one as BC CC 0% finishes in May eeeeeekk!!

Have got an ok week. MAinly on the road making audit calls so the only money i will be using is on petrol which i have budgeted for. Will take a packed lunch/drinks whilst i'm driving around. i also have dinner planned for the week already. Its hard work all this planning but have got to make this work. Ideally i'd like to get rid of the credit cards by the end of the year. Not un-obtainable considering what some of you guys have achieved.

I have an extra job and if that stays regular will throw all of that at the debt. Also going for promotion this week so a little stressed but that would be a payrise of £100 per month that i could chuck at it to. fingers crossed.

Well thats about all from me, hope you don't mind my gabbling i do that alot:D .
Will fill you all in next Sunday, something for me to focus on, and bore you with.

Any tips greatly recieved.

Gabs xx

  • Congratulations on starting your own diary. I think it will help you be able to keep track of things and look back at your progress.

If you dont mind me asking what kind of audit work do you do?

  • Thanks Wendy,

I freelance really, at the moment its for Sony Ericsson. If you want to earn some extra cash there is a really good site called stuck for staff it covers everything from Auditing market research, merchandising and just general promotions. IT does charge to you to register but i've made that back ten fold with last minute job calls from companys.
There are around 400 companys registered it takes a bit of trawling through and applications to do but once you get with a few (none should charge you) and work for some it keeps coming.

Also try http://www.infinitefms.com/ they're always looking for staff have to barter abit to get petrol paid for.

    Hope i haven't gone off on a tangent:o
