I have to say, the only way my kids ever got those manufactured yoghurty things was when they were on the heavily reduced heap!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hi! Thanks for flagging up the programme - I'm just about to listen to it a second time and might get the book (if I find it cheap!)
Did he say something about avoiding stuff having more than 5 things on the label? And names you can't pronounce?? I haven't checked labels on beans tinned toms lately, but I think they're ok - not too much added.
Having listened once and read a few things on the net - he seems more against the really processed stuff (eg. yoghurt/fruit breakfast bars - not much to do with yoghurt or fruit, packed with sugar, ready meals etc) And also that these things are routinely labelled "low-fat" or given some such nutritious claim that disguises the fact they're bad for you.
And then that people think they can eat just stuff like this and keep healthy.0
