I made a double lot beef stew yesterday, some we had last night, the rest is in the fridge. I can't decide whether to freeze the remainder as is or turn it into a "curry" or "chilli" instead. How would I go about it please, does anyone know?
Contains beef, carrots, swede, celery, onion (I picked out all the potato last night
) and I used Knorr stock cubes and bouquet garni, so no overpowering flavour.
It should be OK tomorrow or Tuesday night shouldn't it?

Personally I just stir curry powder to taste into it, simmer it again, taste & adjust curry powder if neededEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1

Yeah I'd just stir in the relevant spices and simmer it for a bit.0

Personally I would freeze it as stew.
It takes longer to cook than chilli or curry so it would be nice knowing there is one in the freezer just waiting to be eaten.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

If there is not a lot of liquid in it already the quick and easy way that I use is to add a tin of ministrone soup, a tin of kidney beans and add chilli powder to taste (about 2-3 teaspoons for me) I also add a few other dried spices and herbs to suit my taste, leave it to simmer for about an hour and serve with potatoes, rice or my favoutite fresh bread.0
