Has anybody else had this and if so, how did you deal with it?
Having posted SOA and realising where I needed to cut back, searched for cheaper options for things. Easy bit done. But can't move suppliers until payments up to date. So for example, I pay Orange bill in arrears but it includes next month. Have to pay for next month before I can cancel. VirginMedia the same. If I carry on at current rate, will get deeper into debt. Can't afford to pay next month and last month, so can't change contracts. So now stuck with contracts can't afford. Don't want to default on Orange as need to port the number.
Do I just stick it on credit card to get it out of the way?

I'd say that it might be a good idea to do that (or at least borrow it from somewhere). You might have two months' rental, plus interest on your card, but that will be more or less static. If you can do without the mobile/TV, then you'll be financially better off at the expense of those facilities and, as this site is about money saving, I'd have to back that one.0
