today has been a HUGE day for me!!!

this morning I have paid off my overdraft!!! for the first time in 6 years I will not be using it as free cash. have called the bank and had it reduced from £1250 to £100 for emergancies only. woo hoo

I have transferred my £3000 credit card debt (spread over 3 cards) on to 1 0% interest card.

also have cut up 6 cards this morning. 4 credit cards and 2 bank cards for accounts that I dont use.

tomorrow I will call the banks/credit card companies and cancel all account that are now not being used.

    God, arnt sundays great!!!

Also just remembered - have written to phone insurance to cancel cover for mobile (just reading terms and conditions and realised cover is for 5 years!!!!) so thats and extra £5.99 per month.

  • Borrowed a mates van to collect a "new to us" bed for DS new bedroom when we get into our new house. One of those with another bed slid underneath so his BF will be able to come for a sleepover.

    How I love Freecyclers.

What he wanted in exchange was me to fill the van up with diesel from the cheapie station which I was passing - and he gave me the money.:j

New bed and NSD - result!!!
