Ophthalmology Appointment - What To Expect?

Hi Everybody,
The Good News is the Consultant said I have nothing to worry about!:T
I arrived at 2pm. My appointment time was 2.10pm.
At 2.30pm a Nursing Assistant called me, asked me to put my glasses on and read from the board on the far wall. Did that, took all of 2 minutes, then she said go and sit outside the Consultants room.
At 3.25pm I was called in to see him. I said Good Afternoon, he was very nice. The Nurse in attendance asked him if he wanted some drops in my eyes and he said Yes, so she put some in (only one type). Couple of minutes later he had a look at the nerves in the back of each eye then did a pressure test on each eye.
(I am presuming the eyedrops were anaesthetic because I didn't feel a thing!) the eye drops were yellow, I know because the nice Nurse gave me a tissue after she did it.
Anyway that was it. He said I have nothing to worry about :j and ushered me out. Think he was a bit busy.
Took my sunglasses as suggested but didn't need them. My friend from work dropped me off and she picked me up afterwards and took me home.
I wanted to let you all know what had happened and just say A BIG THANK YOU. Because of your replies I was not at all stressed or worried. So thank you all. Funny really, thinking about, I was more concerned with how I was going to find my door key to get in when I got home if my vision was blurred.0 -
That's great news you must be so relieved.
Best wishes
