Mu hubbie has a pension fund which has accumulated over the past 15 years. He has just moved jobs and has the option of transferring this amount to his new company pension and building it up from there. is it safer to keep the 2 seperate-they are both huge companies (oil) so think both should be quite safe.

You say one is a fund but you dont say what the other is. Are the schemes money purchase (investment funds) or final salary (based on years of service)?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
