Iced Tea Mix

Hello all
Has anyone seen in any shops any iced tea mix? I don't mean the drink in bottles but the dried powder? In North America one of the leading brands is called Nestea (by Nestle) and I have seen on the web that they are launching it here...however given the hot weather, any brand sounds good to me!
Would consider importing it on a Canadian foods website but I just know I'd end up with a pile of candy instead (I'm chubby enough allready thanks
)

Hi there
There is a product called Lift which is a powdered lemon tea. I haven't used it for a long, long time, but if memory serves me correctly it can be served chilled. It comes in a glass jar and has a yellow label - Tesco definitely sells it as I found it on their website just now - costs 88p.
Otherwise, if you pay a visit to the "Money Saving Old Style" board on this site and ask if anyone has a recipe or ideas for home made iced tea you'll probably get a lots of idea that will cost mere pennies to make and taste fantastic. I think that would be your best bet.0 -
Tescos do there own version of lift I have bought it for my husband as he likes fruit and herbal teas.
It costs about 75p ish.
It does dissolve in cold water as well. I was surprised how well.
Iceland do it in a packet but it is over £1.

They are very nice as husband as bought them but expensive as they are £5 a 500g tub each unless you buy them offer which at the moment is 6 for £22. Or £4 each.
For £3 you can have 4 jars of the Tescos instant and an extra 100grams. Granted all the same flavour. But that is a lot of money for just sugar which is the biggest ingredients in both of them.
