Thank you OS after much reading I made some hm bread by hand today. (Kids helped). I used the simple Delia recipe (link from excellent OS bread thread) & made 1lb loaf & rolls with other half.
Yummy! Rolls all gone, kids loved them so the loaf will be fab when cooled.
We made rock cakes whilst bread rising & pancakes for lunch so been cooking all day. Lovely :T but I don't have time for this everyday lol. (Now I remember why I stopped baking before)
