Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.

£600 at Ann Summers. The mind boggles ;)
  • i'm not too sure what the debt if for, when i had my account with ann summer i only spend just over £100, i cant find the letter but it said something about charges for the debt being passed over and if i pay now i wont get those charges so maybe they've included the kit with the debt, the debt is around 6 months old

lol chuckles1066 i tried the whole ann summers party thing

I would guess they have added fees etc. which have caused it to escalate from £100 to £600.

Sell the kit and give them their money.

Ask them if you return the kit if they will reduce what you owe.

No, why would it be Stapeley? If you run Ann Summers parties you will be provided with a kit of bits and pieces of clothing and 'toys' to get you started. It hink you can also order stock and stuff like that so you have more to show at the parties. I'm guessing there is a charge for this, which, if the OP has not paid and is no longer running parties has been passed on to a DCA who have added their own charges.

That would be my guess at the situation.

This happened to me last year, my debt was about 500pounds and I didn't hear about it until I got the debt letter, it was a co. called red something which gave me such a fright!
I just sent back the kit along with some of the gifts I bought tor prizes and they wrote it off. If you call the company and explain to them you still have the kit, they will sort things out for you
