After some advice about the exciting subject of curtain poles!! Need to put a curtain up in font of my upvc front door. Heard of Portiere Rods, which seem ideal, but can you use them with double glazed doors? Have googled my socks off looking for this answer!
Advance thanks!

Why don't you use no more nails or something like it to attach small blocks of wood to which you've screwed the holders for the rods? Give them 24 hours to stick before attaching the rod and curtain.0

We have a door curtain but the brass rod is not fixed to the actual door but to the ceiling in front of the door. We draw the curtain closed at night and open it to the side during the day.0

when we had our windows done we got told to get a 1mm drill bit, drill into frame and use those little hooks and eyes with curtain wire, hopw this helps0

Beware if you drill any holes in your actual UPVC frame it may null & void any guarantee (happened to a friend of ours!).
It is a pain - I have the same problem in my living room bay window, and not even a suitable ceiling to drill into & hang from there. From experience, the 'no more nails' works for lightweight curtains only!!!!!!!!!
Good luck,
