Probably many people have seen this as various water companies are promoting it - however at the moment South East Water seem to have the cheapest offer.

For £29.99 you get -

200 litre water butt (RRP £29.95)

Child safety lid (RRP £12.95)

Water butt stand (RRP £12.95)

Rain diverter kit (RRP £9.95) - Fits 68mm round or 65mm square plastic downpipes.

The picture on the leaflet shows the butt on the stand and gives measurments as follows -

I think it's a bargain - I'm on a water meter (by choice) and still want to water my plants and pots with wasting precious drinking water. I already have one water butt and was looking at adding another - but could not find anything to beat this offer.

I ordered two composters back in late may from Blackwall.

Got a letter dated june 3rd to say that it 14 days they would arrive.

Well 14 days ago I rang them to say still not here. They said "I will try and get them to you by friday of that week if not it will be another 14 day wait. They are with our carriers."

Tomorrow will 14 days since that phone call. And as of now still no composters.

I am less than happy with the service from the company. looks like I will have to phone again tomorrow :mad:

Hear, hear. You just reminded me. We also ordered ages ago. Paid up and not heard anything since. I imagine they are waiting until winter rains start.
