Wooden loft ladder £100 at B&Q (on display for £150)

Just been to B & Q to buy a loft ladder. It was on display for £149.99 but when we paid it was £99.99 (till glitch?)
It was a wooden 3-sectioned one, made by 'ABRU'.
May help you if you need one!
Edit- just discovered they actually have a promotion on but hadn't got round to changing the display!

Yes, I found it on the website myself after we bought it- they do have an actual promotion on loft ladders at the moment! The one we got was this one: http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9586654&fh_view_size=6&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB&fh_search=loft+ladder&fh_eds=%c3%9f&fh_refview=search&ts=1201984048366&isSearch=true it's the 3-sectioned wooden one. Better than the 2-section one as it takes up less space, but the same price.saintscouple wrote: »Loft Ladders @ B&Q - Link

Is it easy to fit a loft ladder as I've just moved in to a new house but the seller took the one here, even though it was in the estate agents details. :mad:Remember, an Aardvark is not just for Christmas....0

I wouldn't know myself, as not actually fitted one. But i've found instructions that come with one of the abru models to give you an idea.

Hopefully these guys who have purchased one can give you better advise when they've fitted theirs.0 -

Saw them in brochure from local independant hardware store.Seems the brochure is nationwide for local shops and they have a website.

Just looked on the site and there`s a postcode finder to find the nearest store to were you live.0

Can anyone tell me if these ladders come with the bits to convert a loft hatch from one that doesnt hinge and drop down to one that does, as I notice the abru instructions posted earlier includes these bits if needed, if the b+q ones do then this would be fantasticAlways on the hunt for a bargain0
