If you get one with a water dispenser then you have to get it specially plumbed into your water supply.. and it cant be more than a certain distance away from it.. it's a lot of hassle and takes a lot of room that could be used to store food. My auntie has one and this is what she said, and now hers has just broken and now she wants one without a water/ice dispenser.

You could try on Comet clearance site www.comet-clearance.co.uk I think.

I saw some on there going really cheap the other day. It's like a bidding site, and you have to register, but I think it's worth it to get a bargain!
  • fair point Bella - that's why i did a lot of looking around on the net to see which brands people were having a problem with (whirlpool & samsung at that time), decided on the brand i wanted. our installation was easier tho' because we had just had a new kitchen so the water supply had been set up for the fridge. i really, really wouldn't want to be without my water/ice dispenser now. it gets used daily.
