Good spreadsheets anyone?

Hi
Well, I'm doing my best! I use MS Money which I find essential for keeping a track of all my accounts. Wouldn't use anything else.
However, I'm really trying to clear our debt - if I keep going slowly it will be Sept 2010, but I really, really want to clear it this year. My problem is that I keep on spending on things I don't need and going over my budget. My challenge for myself is to actually keep to the fairly lax budget I've set, and then once I can prove I can do that, to reduce the budget each month! And put the extra payments into the debt.
So, to keep a track of all of this, I really need a good spreadsheet that will help - or else some advice as to how people track this themselves (I can probably do the spreadsheet actually - it's the logic I'm having difficulty with
).
Really, I want to pick your good brains - what do you do?

Try the templates in Excel if you have it - there's normally a couple of decent ones knocking about in there.0
