Can anyone tell me how to print this in a way that it WILL scan at the checkouts?

I've tried these before, and they wouldn't scan and the checkout operator wouldn't put them through manually...?

  • It might be the paper you're printing on, or your printer. Sometimes the ink from an inkjet printer bleeds causing the lines of the barcode to merge. I usually print mine on a laser printer and the barcodes come out sharp.

Ok. What paper should I try as I don't have a laser printer?

Would photo paper be any good?

Photo paper might be ok, you could try to print at a higher DPI (change in printer settings) to see if that makes a difference.

Yes. I have used this one, Feb coupon. It scans fine in the SS tills.
Although our local tesco has put a note to check with SA before putting a coupon blocking the slot.
The SA checked it and says it's fine. Put it through herself.

Only bought 2 papers, and 2 on friday. That's enough for me. :)
