ish. only ish. Its a friend of mines 50th tomorrow and we are throwing a party for him. Been cooking all night in readiness. So now sat down with a glass ish of wine. I did cooking for me OH 50'th that was ok too, he knew people were coming as some were staying at ours, but was good night. I have done a pile of baking. Loads of sweets. A huge pan of chilli, a huge pan of stew. Amongst other things, not stopped all day. But had a laugh while doing it. I took my best friend out shopping today to get all the stuff to cook with. Well, we argued and bickered all way round supermarkets. Everything she put in the trolley i took out. Told her there was a cheaper option. I have never seen anyone just curl up and die when i took the simply best range of cherry tomatoes out of her hand and got a normal punnet of them. Half the price. This carried on all the way round. She has yet to discover MSE ways. Tried to tell her but she wont have it at all. She thinks its all a scam type thing. Although she did not complain about the wine i found reduced. Pity i will have drunk it by morning. Hee hee. Looking forward to tomorrow night now all the work is done. Oh my god. Listen to this. I found her buying a couple of packs of cocktail sausages. Ready cooked. Fine i thought. Something else to go on buffet. Ooooooh no. They were for her 3 chickens she keeps in the garden. Really wish i had been wearing my Tena Lady when i found out. Nearly !!!!ed myself laughing. And yes she was serious.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:
