Velux co uk was the stock price, but there was a site called loftblinds co uk or something like that I found using google that was about 20% to 30% cheaper.
Price was still around £70! The site had all the Velux models and I only had to enter the model code from the window to see the blinds.

    I bought a blind from http://www.loftblinds.co.uk

Found it via this post. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=198896&postcount=1

Ordered blind was delivered within the quoted 7-10 days delivery and quality was excellent. The delivery note said the order was shipped from Denmark I think.

we recently (in last 2 weeks) bought 2 velux siesta blinds from a company called lockharts. found them on the web, http://www.roofwindowblindsdirect.com/

the blinds cost us £137 as apposed to Velux price which was £198
    blinds arrived within 7-10 days.
and where actual velux manufactured blinds..... had velux written all over the box and paperwork

mr lockhart himself..... was very helpful when my wife phoned to query something... even phoning late in the evening (8pmish)
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)
  • I recently bought a load of blackout blinds for my VELUX windows from a google link http://www.itzala.net/gb/shop/ .

Saved an absolute fortune and they (to me anyway) are indistinguishable from the old velux blinds I had on before.

Also was impressed on their site with the installation movies. Recommended!
  • 247 blinds, have them quite cheapily priced
  • Cheapest online is Blinds 2go , look for the own brand blinds, 70% cheaper than buying from Velux!

I have recently trawled the internet and found a couple of great sites, the best three that I found were...

    online2buy
    roofingsuperstore

Since it's been more than a year, I thought an update would be helpful.

Just went through all of these, as well as some more from The Search Engine That Shall Not Be Named, and after adding the blinds to the basket and taking into account delivery charges, the cheapest ones (selling genuine Velux) seem to be:

    fashioninteriors.co.uk
    Roofblinds.co.uk
    loftblinds.co.uk
    247loftblinds.co.uk

They have less than £10 difference from first till last for buying 2 blinds.
  • These four are still strong on price. I'm looking for four blinds (window sizes CK01, MK08 and 2 x PK10) and there is only £25 difference between the cheapest - roofblinds.co.uk - and most expensive. All are £150+ cheaper than the manufacturer.
