HELP! Weight Loss Means New Clothing Required!

Hello! I am currently following weight watchers, and have lost almost a stone which means I have dropped a size and none of my clothing fits. I have taken some stuff in, and some things I can get away with wearing baggy or a belt, but most stuff is drowning me, and I want to look good now that I'm headed for my GOAL weight.
BUT, I'm not there yet, and I don't want to spend much on new clothes, when hopefully I am going to lose some more weight over coming months.
I have tried: cheap high street stores, like primark, peacocks, etc... EBAY, but anything over a size 14 is out of fashion, second hand shops and booties.
Any more ideas? I wouldn't mind making some clothes if I had some patterns?
Ideally want to stick to around £50 to buy new 3 new outfits for work (office type stuff) and 2 new casual outfits which I can mix and match
Thank you x

How about organising a clothes swap among your weight watcher pals or other friends? Everyone donates one or more items of clothing in good condition that is/are still fashionable but don't fit. For every item you bring you can take one item brought by someone else home.
Another idea is to look on Freecycle... might not be the height of fashion but if it is free maybe you can alter/adapt stuff.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

Congratulations on loosing the weight so far, and good luck on future weight loss.
Speaking from someone who is now 10 stone lighter, i have faced this problem, and i have to say my answer was and to some extent is charity shops. It means that you can get cheap clothing and chuck/donate/sell old clothes.
I have to say getting rid of old clothes is the key, it is a frame of mind thing, if you sell them, you can not go back and it keeps you far more focused.
Plus there is the whole recycling issue, when i get an outfit from the c/s it is "new" to me, and i am not buying clothes at premium prices. Plus i am saving tonnes of cash. Do your charity shops have £1 rails? I picked up some fantastic suits for £1 and i am talking Next and Planet.
But most importantly keep the healthy eating going and good luck!!!There is no need to run outside

Try Next Clearance shops. I recently got a load of skirts and tops - ranging from £1 to £3 and they are really nice0

I am also on Weight Watchers and have lost weight/gained (a little bit - enough to make a difference)weight/lost weight.
My secret has been to buy Maternity trousers as staple workwear/casual wear. You can have the tabs on the biggest size and tighten them a you go along. This means trousers last a long time - until you lose more. And with the designs these days, you can even buy maternity tops. With trouses i am obviously talking about the ones with adjustable inner bands!
Works for me - could you try it?
New Look and Debenhams Red Herring are the best as they have a bigger adjusting band at the side.0 -
Roughly what size are you now? it might give us a better idea of where to suggest.

Weight Watchers know how to make money!
They've even bought a book out on this very subject:
Well done on your weight loss, I've started trying to eat healthily from today (managed so far!) so hopefully in the future to have the same problem!...
The book is hardback and is around £10 new, might be able to get it cheaper on amazon/ebay? HTHI don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -

I've just checked for you - its still around £10 on ebay but you can get it from Amazon for £2.50 (at the time of writing!) + P&P from a marketplace seller. Don't know whether its worth bothering tho' - theres one review (total) on Amazon that says the clothes they recommend would suit 'grannies!'I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
