I want to find out who's rung me

Hi, can anyone help? I've just had an abusive phone call & would like to know how I can find out who's rung me. My phone provider is Talktalk. Feel a bit spooked!

might be an obvious question but have you dialled 1471? If they withheld their number then I don't know, sorry.

Could you contact TalkTalk and report abuse - they may not give you the number (in case of retaliation) but they may be able to bar it from your number? Do you think it was personal to you or a dodgy prankster?

Thanks, tried 1471 & no joy. Will try to contact talktlak about it, they asked for me by name, hence my concern.

Hope you get it sorted - I hate things like that. Do you live on your own? Could you get your OH (if there is one) to answer all the calls when possible? Do you suspect anyone?

TalkTalk will have the records for who called you. Justbecause it doesn't show who called you doesn't mean the record isn't there. Otherwise all terrorists would just block their numbers.

It is a crime to make abusive or threatening calls.
Report to talktalk and see what they say.

They may not be able to give you the number but they may be able to take action.
If you feel strongly enough go to the police with the time of the call. They will be able to trace the phone and take action.
