Hi ... there appears to many issues going on here, obviously the ineptitude of the CSA and also Inland Revenue. However, it would suggest that you are careful in what you say on here as you have not only given away the identity of the business name that your ex "works" for, but also more revealing, your full name.
Can I suggest, you go back in and either edit or delete this post, and start another profile with a not-so-recognisable name!:wave:0 -
is that better? all personal details referring to him gone inc location.0

Although the CSA may at times be s**t, its not their fault when nrp's can't be ars*d. If NRP's cared and paid for the upkeep of their kids, there'd be no need for the csa.paulamathers wrote: »I am a sinlge mum with a 4 yr old daughter. My ex partner lives with mummy and daddy (even though he is mid 20s like me!!) and they own their own company. He works for them but they pay him cash in hand - as with his brother. Report them to inland revenue for tax fraud.
They own a taxi firm. Another taxi firm in the area (really nice people) told me that they sub contract work to the parents company, and that they are prepared to stand up in court if necessary to provide documented evidence of all the jobs the company have done for them - specifically all of the jobs my ex partner has done for them which proves he has worked full tiem for his parents since at least October 2005. I have told the CSA all of this, but they haven't acted on it. They have been going round in circles sending criminal compliance, then bailiffs etc etc. Mummy and Daddy have told the CSA that he doesnt work for them, and have signed "affidavits" saying that he owns nothing in their home, just a bed in a room. CSA Legal are in the process of claiming back some money from when I had evidence he was working, but that doesnt secure regular maintenance payments. Because the CSA deleted my files several times, I cannot have a simple case with them, I have to be passed to their clerical dept (they're so rubbish that they have a whole dept set up for when they accidentally delete peoples cases!!) No, they don't. who advised me today that they cant give me an update until criminal compliance get back to them to say if they believe he is working or not! This is the second time criminal compliance have been involved in the past 4 1/2 yrs, and so i am now back at the same place I was 4 yrs ago!
This is just a brief overview - obviously I cannot summarise 4 yrs worth of CSA crap in an email because I have called them every week for the past 4 1/2 yrs!! I've been passed from belfast office to nottingham to belfast, to newcastle, to sunderland to belfast - then there was a period where no one knew what office should be dealing with me - then back and forth again. I just want him to have to pay maintenance for our daughter so she can have better things - even if the money just went straight into her account so she can have it when shes older. Please advise what I can do because the csa are going in circles and i need this progressing!0 -

Exactly, that is why paulamathers has to go to the CSA, and even then, they can't seem to do the job that they are meant to do.

Staff don't delete people's cases - the system does that all by itself - honestly! That is why the staff are so stressed because the system is so !!!!!! that it isn't fit for purpose, but the Ministers went ahead and said that it was to be rolled out anyway!
This is what is so frustrating - the Ministers delayed the start of CS2 because they weren't happy that the computer systems worked properly. The system has never worked properly, with new problems coming out all the time, yet the Minsiters thought fit to scrap their pledge to ensure that it worked properly before rolling it out because they wanted the new system in place ASAP. Hence rushed through and all the problems we have now.
This whole Government is not fit for purpose!!!0 -

Have you any evidence, ie letters from the CSA that they told you originally why the case was deleted. If you have, it may be worth chasing them for compensation as the delays are obviously their fault.
Have you considered obtaining all of your records through the Data Protection Act? Advice on how to do that is in the sticky at the top of this forum.
If the CSA have indeed deleted your records, then they are in breach of the DPA, which enshrines the principle that all personal data is securely maintained.:wave:0
