Lets hope they do as they say and actually bother closing down, our store in Inverness has big 90% off stickers on the front and inside everything is reduced but not by much except a rail of patrick shorts down to £1 each (that'd be the 90% off bit!)!! Anyhow hope someone gets a bargain in EDI

The shop is closing down, They vacate around the 15 - 20 of February when M&S take over. They plan to have a M&S Clearance outlet open for May 2008. The possibility of even more savings.

Was in JJB in Ipswich today & it had 90% off posters as well - a few t-shirts were on display at £1 & £2 but nothing worth buying - only my view.

I'll pop in tomorrow, weather allowing. Others posters are correct when they say 90% signs are out in other JJB though. Anybody know if JJBs are franchises in which case they will have to offload the stock or a chain where stock can just be moved down the road to the next one?

yes ive worked in a few JJB stores and have helped close and open one!

what happens is the majority of cheap stuff will get transferred somewhere that they know it will sell, its likely to be in an out of town store rather then a city centre one. some of the better stuff will go to the city centre shops or back to HO..
