Free Holiday with My Offers..???

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place, but you'll have to bear with this newbie! I joined MYOFFERS via another site not so long ago and today I got a phone call saying that I had won a holiday, I didn't believe it at first but then she gave me a free phone number and reference to call this holiday company, and so I did, and spoke tot he person and he said, I've won a flight and accomodation paid holiday for me and my partner to either costa del sol, tenerife or portugul.
Then he went on to to say that he will send me the confirmation letter and I should take the confirmation letter to their office near tottenham court road, with my ID and pick up my holiday which is valid for 18 Months and 70 pounds worth of Theatre tokens. I agreed for a time next week (provisionally) he said all I would have to pay is my airport tax at the airport and 29.50 for a booking fee which is payable when I book the holiday in the next 18 months.
Please can someone tell me, if this offer sounds genuine, I have NEVER won anything via the internet and normally just see it as spam!
Confused newbie

Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy - since when does anyone pay a booking fee for a competition win?
I'd be highly dubious about this if I were you.0 -
Thanks, just as I thought!0

There's a MSE thread on competition scams - which might help you further:

I had exactly the same call right after I joined MyOffers. This is a high pressure sales pitch for a "holiday club", you have to attend the presentation where they will try to get you to hand over £££s for all sorts of added extras. You are quite right to be sceptical, I told them firmly that I wasn't prepared to do it and they left me alone. The general rule is that if it looks too good to be true then it usually is!!! Well done for checking out MSE first! :T£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250
