Great news!! :T0 -
Martin - You have links to your tips videos. Why can't you have similiar thing for your shows? They could still have all the Five TV adverts in so they wouldn't be losing out. You would also get more exposure.
Technology is moving quickly into internet TV (the new Apple box enabling you to download and watch what TV you choose is already released) and you don't want to be left behind!
If you want to miss out on the next big thing, thats upto you0 -

Please remember this isn't my decision. It is five's. It pays for the programmes not me; and as such it can decide when and where to show them. I believe it is considering its own system to play online and hence wants to keep the shows proprietory.
Remmeber making a TV show is an expensive thing, many tens of thousands of pounds go into each one. As such it has a right to protect its intellectual property and its investment.

Could you not persuade five to consider going to YouTube for their archive facility for the next series of IPTW? Or is the fact that the BBC uses YouTube for the same thing going to put them off?
Would it be possible to have the YouTube window for the IPTW Extra footage fitted with a "full screen" option?
Edit: Would five consider releasing IPTW as a DVD box set at some point?0 -
MSE_Martin wrote: »As you've asked in here; then I have to answer no. The site is the copyright of Five Tv and any unauthorised broadcast of it would be a breach of its copyright. I am not in a position to give permission to allow this (and its one of the reasons we do the web show as I wanted to have something that MoneySavers could see as we couldn't put the watch again of he actual show on the web). So Im afraid no is the answer.
Sorry
Martin
