O2 Broadband free 4 12 months existing pay monthly customers

Options
I was onto 02 earlier with a mobile query and after that was dealt with they offered me Broadband for £7.50 on 12 month deal. I told them I'd think about it and agreed for them to call me back in a week.

Half hour later they called back and offered their standard 8meg package to me free for 12 months with no ongoing commitment except that after 12 months it goes to £7.50 per month. There's a 100 day get out period so I signed up.

Deal is only for today apparently

  • Hi,

I know the deal might be gone but incase it comes up again, does this have to be with a BT Line?

We were on a trial for 02 for 3 months last year.
We didn't have to pay anything as it was a trial to see how things worked etc.
We had loads of trouble & went without the internet for hours at a time, dropping connection etc etc. However thats what the whole point of the trial was.
I must say though, 02 customer service were brilliant.

Not to happy right now though, they sent a bt engineer to check our line & just got a bill through from bt wanting £200
