However, Co-Op have also launched their own ecological range with 1/3rd off and I bought some of these items to try out.

    Hi,

Do let us know how the range works!

    Thanks
Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

The Co-Op range is excellent at cleaning and fairly competitively priced. I like that they're more environmentally sound and don't test on animals, so I'll happily pay a bit more for them.

However, they often have offers, some of which are currently running. Today I bought dishwasher tablets on BOGOF at £3.19. Twenty tablets in a box, but we cut the tablets in half and everything is just as clean.

Co op own brand capsules didn't always get our clothes odour free. The simply ones do and are also not animal tested and environmentaly sound. I would not like to go back.

I need some more dish washer tablets and I got a load last time wit washing powder the offer isnt same anymore so I pass on this
  • Just thought I'd throw something into the mixing pot - I did a feature about green cleaning for a local daily broadsheet over the summer and after a lot of research I realised that in the industry "Simply" washing products by Aquados are NOT seen as being that environmentally friendly - something to do with the Optical Brighteners they contain. I'm no expert though, so if they work for you that's the main thing.

Just so you know I'm not just "anti-Simply" though the article its on http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/search/2314449.Clean_and_green/
