I came back from my local boots. And they had totes wonder lights brolly for £3.75 and they are about the same size a mobile phone. So would fit in your hand bag a treat. They open up to a full size canopy with windproof frame. Where £15 each. Got a couple for Xmas presents. Might treat myself tomorrow for one for myself if I they have any left.

Also had some wella shock waves ultra strong power gel styler for 67p the SA told me there where one bogoff. So got two for that price. Bargain or what.

Might spend some points tomorrow as I did spend £8 ish on christmas presents. Or could get hubby to buy me one :D trying to decided if I got stylish black or have a funcky coloured one that was about a 50p cheaper. :rotfl:

Hope you still find some bargains left over.

    Yours

    Calley

Oh how I love Boots, they have a knack of getting me to part with my cash though!! Today I had lots of fun pciking up £1.00 bargains in the Folkestone store. I got 4 pairs of Pretty Polly Juliane Mcdonald fishnet style tights for a pound each reduced from £10.00 each! Also FCUK solid perfume £1.00 each, tipex pen £1.00, Umbro mens trainer sock £1.00 each, Barefoot Doc sets all £1.25 eacg but only managed to get one cos the staff had snagged them all! Scooby Doo hot water bottle covers £3.25 each and Kitten ones £2.25 each. In the sale section there were also lots of Med stuff all under a pound but I didn't fancy my chanes with the voucher as I have read previously that they don't add point for reduced items?? I had so much stuff anyway I couldn't stagger to the machine! Also lts of natural collection items reduced I assume they are bogof?

I just wanna say how wonderful my says assistant was today, I have had my fair share of old witchs in Boots before but this young lady was brilliant!! I wanted to split my items in order to get two electic vouchers and she was so helpful even though the tills were busy. It restores my faith in peopel when things like this happen :-)

Hey don't you go apologising, you haven't got anything to worry about, we are all defending you , just a pity one of our members seems to have a snob element about them regarding the cards.

    :D
  • The little me gift sets are on offer again
They scanned for 1/2 the price on the shelf
ie aroma bear was 7.49 but scanned at 3.74
also playtime gift set 3.74 tshirt set 2.49 pamper set 3.74
good if you need to make up your shop to £15
I bought a med foot spray for 99p and got 50 points
In another shop i bought a med dry shampoo for 65p and got 100 points
There are also lots of other reduced gift sets in both of the preston shops including bfd heavenly cubes for £1
The one in the town centre has the best offers on the advantage card machine

I thought he was just making a joke?!!

think the irony of the joke has been lost lol
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

or you could just do what my great aunt used to which was cut the front off old xmas cards and use them as xmas postcards. but then she did live through 2 wars. plus, when we cleared out her house, after she died, we found a box, marked by her, 'old pieces of string too small to be useful'..maybe this should be on the old style board.........
