You could try the e-bay threads."The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him no good."(Samuel Johnson 1709-1784)

Maybe try and get your head round matched betting, it looks like there's some reasonable money to be made there.
Or hitting the cashback sites can prove quite fruitful, I've had over £500 from them in the past year and it's taken very little effort.0 -
thanks all,
I've thought about matched betting but it looks a bit scary for me - since having the kids I've only got a little brain (actually there was'nt much there before the kids but at least I have an excuse now - and two lovely children as a bonus!!!!)
Going to hit quidco now for any free cash available - is there a list somewhere to help me on my way?
Thanks againOCT 06 £7500K DEBT - OCT 2007 DEBT FREE :j

I think there's a Quidco list in the Freebies section. The best thing to do is just go through the list of merchants category by category and find ones which offer free money (for sign-ups or registrations, switching suppliers, and some of the gambling sites offer free bets and cashback for deposits, might be worth saving should you decide to give matched betting a go).0

i joined mysearchfundsand set it as my home page instead of google. They pay everytime you click on a site. Made 87p from 31 clicks yesterday, hoping to make at least a tenner a month-it all helps!
I emailed Eagerlearner for her great guide to cashback sites as well and have joined those, topcashback is quite a good one.grocery challenge jan 17 £ / 350.000 -
The first step is to know what NOT TO DO, so hopefully the following will help...
Beware of any scheme that asks you for a payment up-front - Yes it's true that you often have to speculate to accumulate, but just make sure you know what you're paying for and know when you're going to get it back, plus a return.
Spread-betting is an easy way to make a small fortune - Start with a big fortune and turn it into a small one! (Hardest way to make an easy living - the Streets).. Seriously though. You really need to know what you're doing. Leverage gives you big returns by allowing you to place a large bet, without actually needing the stake money, BUT (and yes, that's a big but!) it also alows your losses to spiral very quickly.
Personally, I'd avoid any gambling systems - particularly any relating to Roulette. The really dangerous thing about these types of systems is that, because of the nature of games of chance (percentage risk), they often appear to work and can make you a lot of easy money BUT (there's another one!) in the long run you're more likely to lose, or if you're lucky break even - It's true what they say - the house always wins!
