Dont disagree with anyone here I just thought this was a sweeping statement to make - and that some posts were going unanswered although someone had said hi or whatever - its easy to overlook them.
Ive bumped up one that I thought could have been helped..hopefully someone more experienced will answer.

Agree re the blog - its like diaries, they dont always need an answer - I personally love having mine to look back on progress. Its nice if you get the chat.

    are you sure?
    Yes, quite sure, thanks.
Its one thing answering them with a comment.....

Just trying to point out that not everyone is being answered or given the advice they need so why say so?
Re-read my original post - I acknowledge that not everyone can be/will be helped.....but the fact is that we have TRIED, and nobody has been completely ignored. And THAT is something to be proud of.

I feel quite sorry for people who consider nothing less than perfection worth celebrating - the world is not a perfect place and never will be, but does that mean we should stop trying? Or stop being happy about what we DO achieve?

I think your comments are a kick in the teeth for people like me, and many others, who spend a considerable amount of time each day trying to make sure people DO get an answer.

I am quite sad really that we are not allowed to, just for once, be proud about what an amazing place DFW is (what an amazing place WE make it), without the negative comments.

Especially when the ones doing the kicking, are not ones who helping to move towards that goal.

Don't be sad; it shows what DFW *could* be like if we are not careful. "There but for the Grace of God..." etc.

    I love Mexican waves, me!!!:rotfl:
Ok i will be the first to say i find posts on pages 1~4 with 0 answers, if i cant answer it i will bump it ie leave a comment. But is that not better having them 'back on top' rather than dropping more and more pages?
Completely agree, I very often can't answer or offer any advice to the OP, but just putting a 'welcome to DFW, thanks for posting, I can't answer but I'll bump u up so someone who can answer will help etc' not only puts the post back to the top of the page for someone else to see, but it also helps to make the person (very often a newbie) feel a bit more welcome.... esp as Z said, the front pages move very fast at 'peak' times, so a new post can easily disappear to page 6/7 in about 10 mins.
