Not Bad....
Instead of going to my local garage and getting 4 tyres for my Mondeo, fitted all inc for £118.00 (4 * 185/65tr14 Economy tyres)
I can order similar off an internet website from Hannover! (.co.uk?????)
Wait whilst they are delivered to a garage i'm unfamilar with 18 miles away....or you can get them fitted yourself (have you tried this lately? Tyre centres really dislike fitting customers own tyres!)
Then have to pay extra over the price advertised to get them fitted....
Oh..and if the tyre is faulty...you have to wait for them to pick it up and replace it...not simply get another off the shelf!
and the price comes in at...yes you guessed it.....£23.08 more than the garage around the corner!!

The wonders of Internet shopping pushed to a sad extreme indeed!

My tyres is a good source of tyres at decent prices. However if like the previous poster you have a cheap size of tyre and you just want budget tyres then they do not tend to be competitive.
Try buying Pirelli or Michelin tyres from your local place and compare the prices then.
Generally the more expensive your tyres are, the more that places like my tyres can discount and the cost of a courier (factored into their prices) can be offset by the savings
Sometimes kwikfit will price match them (then add usual fitting charges).0 -
As previous poster said, if your in the market for premium tyres then My Tyres really is the place to go.
For example i recently purchased a pair of 17" Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. Cheapest local garage price for a pair was £250, a visit to one of the big chains (National Tyres) and they quoted me £330, My Tyres price £187 & £15 to have then fitted at my local garage.
So whilst it wouldn't of been cheaper for RussLE i managed to save a few quid and so might a few others.

https://www.merityre.co.uk beats fitted mytyre prices - great if youre in the south east - they do (for example) Bridgestone Potenza RE040 for Mzada RX-8 for £140.68 (£148.32 fitted) using their online pricing, plus an extra 5% off ie £140 fitted. MYtyres are £132 even with their 5% discount plus £15 fitting = £147.....

Yes, and they're excellent too. I used them recently to fit 4 new tyres on my wife's car and they cost about 25% less than National Tyres and, like you say, they will come to you.meclive wrote:http://www.etyres.co.uk will come and fit them at your door
I also found that they had a much wider choice of tyres than those in stock at National. We could choose any one of about 8 tyres from budget prices upwards, compared to National's choice of 2!Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
