TBH I'm on these forums about 5 times a day (its set as one of home tabs) and one thing that winds me up is people who come and post what they think is a bargain, or a grabbit but dont actually give the information they're supposed to.
Call me pedantic, anal, whatever. If you re-read the OP's first thread - exactly how useful is it? Knowing the price of the razor itself is the key piece of information we need in order for this thread to be effective. Fantastic, free blades....er hang on, the razor could have been £25 for all we knew.
I'm sure the OP's intentions were good and thanks for bringing this bargain to light. I for one am a wilkinson sword quattro user (which is why i was so interested to know the price). I will also thank him.
You see these kind of posts here all the time, ie. people forget to put the name of the retailer down, or forget the price, or paste links with referral codes in them.
So in a nutshell just be a little more attentive when you post bargains.0 -
Neiliboy, now you seem to be a pot calling the kettle black. The OP said the razor was cheaper than a packet of blades. As a Wilkinso Sword user, I would have thought you would have known the price of a packet of blades. Surely not more than £25.
Your post is another example of what winds other people up, and justifiably so. Posts wind you up because you might have to make a few mouse clicks to get more info. Get real! You'll want people to come and wipe your @r$e for you next.0 -
I went in Superdrug Lichfield today and they have a POS right near the doors (!) but there were lots available.
An excellent deal, thanks to OP.
PS Remember to pick up the free set of 4 blades as they are not within the Razor blister pack itself (I initially thought they were)0 -

How is my post 'the pot calling the kettle black"???
If I'd posted a thread with the key information missing then you'd have the right to say that. But I havnt so erm....you're wrong on that one....;)
Read my post properly. I merely used £25 as an example of what the price 'COULD' have been. Purely hypothetical. I wasnt saying it was definitely set in stone absolutely 100% £25 was I??! So again, You're wrong on that one too
To be honest the last time i bought some Wilkinson sword blades was about three years ago as a result of some kind soul posting a bogof offer on here - I must have spent about £50 on them at about that time which (for someone who shaves once/twice a week tops) have lasted me until now.:T
So lastly if you feel my post 'winds people up' then my i kindly suggest you ignore it because if you wish to try and decipher the original post then more fool you. As a very regular chat forum user its nice to see the majority of threads have the full details in them which are, of course, the whole point of why we're here.
As for wiping my 4rse may i suggest you kindly come round mine and do it for me......thats probably all your good for :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I dont need to add anything else.....quite simply because i know i'm right0 -
I prefer to use Fusion blades...perhaps because my husband likes how smooth it gets me
lol but thanks for the tip...it's always nice to have a spare razor when you go on trips
so I'll pick one up when I go to London next week.

The offer was on the battery one in my superdrug too, but unfortunately they had run out of blades for that one so i grabbed a titanium. thought i'd give it a go as those fusion blades are insanely expensive0
