cheap washing powders/liquids

hi all, just wondered what people have tried and found good in ways of own/cheap brand washing powders or liquids. i normally use ariel liquid, but im on such a tight budget that i need to find a cheaper alternative this month. i almost bought some sains own liquid, which wasnt much cheaper. ive a box of dreft, which i use…

I've found that two tablespoons of stardrops in our 6Kg washing machine works very well. The washing has always been clean and fresh, and it gets stains out. They say you can use it for handwashing wool, so it should be safe for all your normal washing too.

I don't buy expensive handwashing products either, a tablespoon of stardrops in the sink with warm water works really well. This is what I originally started buying it for.
