If you buy something that is quite large, like I have just purchased a chimney hood for my cooker and it cost £110 plus £20 delivery cost. I used a voucher for the NHS discount to get 5% off, but if you go into the refurbished section there is a Freeview box for £30 which is offering free delivery on it, therefore, by right however you look at it you are either getting a free freeview box or free delivery.
Hope this helps someone else

so in effect you are getting a freeview box for £10?.....0

£110 for hood. £30 for freeview box. Free delivery. Less 5% - £7. Cost = £133.
Cost without freeview box and discount would have been £130 (£110 + £20).
Effective cost of freeview box when using discount code = £3.

Actually you can buy a Freeview box which isn't refurbished for less than £30 at Tesco, ASDA or even Empire Direct
OK, I accept that has nothing to do with the point you're making, sorryThanks to all who post constructively.

£3 (or £10 for non NHS) , this is an excellent way to get free delivery on large items..0
