well, what a load of wooohaaa :rolleyes: tried to place my order online ... sorry, we can not authorise your card! used other halfs card .... same message ... tried again on my ones a few times ... same message .... then rang them direct ..... gave them card numbers again!
Result ... sorry madam, you'll have to call your bank to see why they are not authorising them .... "but 3 different cards, 3 different banks, are you sure there isn't a problem at boots end?" ... no, nothing wrong here at boots, you will have to call your banks to see why they are not authorising the transactions! Oh and by the way, the huggies are now out of stock! (me = :mad: even though the CS rep was lovely)
Called banks ... checked it out, they couldn't understand why transactions were declined .... well, infact, none of the payments had been declined, but for some reason, boots system seems to think they were being declined .....
Final result ..... contacted all banks and have been charged a total of 8 times for this £36.31 order and boots CS closed at 7pm a whole minute after trying to figure out what was going on with the help of the banks!
IF i do get my order, i am glad it was nappies i ordered and not any glass wear, as i will spend at least one hour kicking the whoopsys out of them
