I wanna buy some cheap cutlery

Hi
We are having a charity fundraising event shortly, and part of the evening consists of meal and pud for about 70 adults. Need some cutlery for the event but don't want to spend too much as it will have to come out of any profit we make. Doesn't have to be great, but not plastic either. Does anyone know where would be cheapest?
Thanks in advance.

can you rent it? otherwise not sure what you will do with cutlery for 70 people afterwards
Who is providing the plates and glasses? Can they do cutlery?0 -
We have managed to borrow the plates etc and already have glasses, but the people who lent us the plates don't have enough cutlery. Was just hoping that there might be some really cheap sets out there that someone has seen recently, even Tesco value or Asda smart price or someting like that. Have asked local pub about renting but they will be using theirs and weren't that keen to be honest.0

What about asking a big chain such as Tesco or a big pub/hotel chain? They are often v generous when it comes to donating raffle prizes to charity so they might be willing to help out with cutlery from their canteen?? Or maybe if someone has any connections with a school or some kind of establishment which would not be using cutlery in the evenings??0

Try your local school see if they can help out.0

NISBETS 60 place setting (knife, fork, spoon & teaspooon for £29.99+vat and delivery
I ordered some knives from them on Monday after another recommendation on MSE, and they were delivered within 24 hours. It's only cheapo stuff, but for £41 I think that's probably the cheapest you're gonna get
For the record, I'd also try contact your local school/s though. Can't see that they'd have a problem, especially as it's for charidee. It's not like they'll be using it as presumably it'll be an evening or weekend function? All posts made are my own opinions and constitute neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

As it's for charity couldn't you ask people to bring their own cutlery? Also saves on washng up.0
