so there wasn't much to be had then dollardog? Was there anything in the way of clearance? Did you see if the cucmber range was reduced that peeps have been talking about. The normal Sa's won't let you do it either they must all have been told just to say no to everything now. Thanks for goodies yesterday nice meeting you. My son is going through the terrible two's a little bit but i knew he was tired, he fell asleep the minute we got in the car.

No, hardly any clearance things at all, don't think the cucumber range was reduced, I did see some reduced for the first time the other day, although not as cheap as has been mentioned, mostly around 30-40p each, trying to think where I saw it. No Nivea either, although they must have had some as the reduced tickets were there, but shelf empty. They must have got the dates muddled, as the refit is next month.
I didn't want the P&P set from there anyway, I was only winding the SA up!! I just wanted to see what she would say, as they are usually alright with me in there, although having said that I rarely buy there..
  • ((((((((((((Jan)))))))))) first thing in the morning, ring, ask for a replace, ask them to cancel that card!!! someone would have a field day if you don't, let me look at what time theyre open at...

havent managed to try out any glitches yet, am terrified lol.
am quite pregnant and soooo hormonal that i'm scared the SA will make me cry - anything does at the mo. lol

my boots.com arrived today, got the pram-wahey!!!!! but eventhough it came a day early, it didnt arrive yesterday with the other part of the delivery and that almost reduced me to tears too - gosh i'm awful at this!!

been to shirley and kingsheath. am probably (will chicken out i know it) gonna try the illum voucher tomorrow....gonna take mum to hold my hand ;)

Aww well done on the new babba, and i am sure no one dare upset a pregnant woman, so go and get your bargains, can you imagine the press if a SA upsets a heavily pregnant lady, it would be torn up, so go get that bargain, and even ask for a chair when you do it, so you can sit down! if i was there i take you to the store!!!

No idea...it didn't work with just the P&P gift set, but it did with the high lights as well - so I assumed that the high lights made the till think over £20 on No. 7 . .

I tried to use the vouchers in the exact order you mentioned in your last post, but the mean till would not let me use it. Also, I wish hadn't bought the dream mascara now, after reading other peeps posts about how rubbish it is - over priced too!

I have to be honest though I can't see any central programming of the tills cos what seems to go through in one Boots doesn't in another - and that's just the tills....put the SAs into the equation and it's total chaos.

That's very true, LOL (I want my smillies back)

    i managed to get
    dream lash mascara
    peach highlighter
    gwp

    £ 5.50
    used free highlighter voucher
and £5 no 7 voucher parenting club voucher would not go through

also i am desperately after the ruby and millie compact that are £5 instore for the vouchers that are remaining, could some kind mse get some for me with my 3 vouchers and i could send them some spares that i have pm me if you can help. tia

I have tried several times to get the compacts with the voucher, but each time the till has not allowed it and have been told that its because they are already reduced. So I've ended up either paying cash or points for them.

I spotted some NIVEA Visage Anti-Wrinkle Q10 Eye Cream hiding on a reduced shelf!!!!! £6.79 down to £3.20.

Thought I'd chance it for the extra points - even tho the barcode was scribbled over and a reduced sticker on them!

Took one to the till with a Nivea Q10 lip balm, and got the extra points for the eye cream but not the lip balm. I did argue that my lips that I would be using this on were actually on my face and therefore it should qualify as facial skincare - but no luck.

So............. went back and got 5 more eye creams and asked if I could return the lipbalm and buy them!!! She cocked up the transaction, scanned 7 eyecreams, then realised she'd overcharged me by £6.40 so entered -£6.40 beauty discount, so I paid £12.00 and when I looked I had been given 2800 points!:j

HAHAHA i sent you a thank you, but thats way to good to not reply too, well done, did i laugh when i read that, oh to the new SAs or the students, or the hard day with the kids SAs, soz if anyone does work at Boots, just having a giggle with ya, but woooooooooohoooooooooooo give us that SAs name so we can all go in tomorrow and confuse them!
